Page Three — Today

I stopped trying to separate passion from profession.

Somewhere along the journey, I was fortunate enough to make one become the other.

For years, I've looked at life through three simple circles — never meant to be equal in size, only meant to keep each other in balance. Today, they overlap more than ever.

Passion. Bread & Butter. Pay Back to Life.

They were never meant to be equal in size. They were meant to keep each other in balance. Today, they overlap more than ever — and somewhere in that overlap is where I spend most of my time.

01

Passion

Do work that keeps you curious.

Stories. People. Culture. Brands. Ideas. Films. Experiences. Technology. Conversations. I've always been happiest somewhere between these worlds.

I still take on projects simply because something about them excites me — a person I believe in, an organisation whose intent feels genuine, an idea that deserves a chance, or a challenge that makes me curious enough to say: "Let's see if we can make this happen."

Not every meaningful project needs to begin with a business case. Sometimes connection is reason enough.

02

Bread & Butter

Make the passion sustainable.

This is where I've been unusually fortunate. My passion eventually became my profession — and today, much of both finds a home inside THE BLUE TICK.

What began as an idea has evolved into the creative ecosystem through which I now do much of my professional work. I think of it less as an agency and more as a place where ideas find the people, strategy, stories and execution they need to move forward.

We work at the intersections.

Brand×Storytelling Strategy×Creativity Creators×Opportunity Culture×Commerce Content×Technology Ideas×Execution

And that intersection is exactly where I've spent most of my professional life.

What I Do There

My designation may say Founder & Creative Director. My days are considerably less tidy.

I curate.
I strategise.
I build partnerships.
I develop intellectual properties.
I work with creators and entrepreneurs.
I help shape brands and their narratives.
I develop content and communication ecosystems.
I connect people who should probably know each other.
I occasionally walk into complicated projects and help find the missing piece.
And I remain involved in the one thing I've never learned to delegate: the idea.

We don't begin by asking what service we can sell. We begin by asking what problem we can solve.

Different assignments demand different answers. That's intentional — we assemble the right combination of thinking, storytelling, talent, technology and execution around each one.

03

Pay Back to Life

Because receiving creates a responsibility to give.

The third circle. Perhaps the quietest. And perhaps the most important. Long before entrepreneurship entered my vocabulary, there was a belief that whatever knowledge, access, opportunity or experience life gives you should eventually find its way to someone else.

Apsara Children's Science Academy — Curiosity came first. Working with children made me understand that sometimes the most valuable thing you can give someone isn't an answer. It's permission to ask a bigger question. And one circle began.

LAKSHYA — Science expanded into communication, communication into development. What began as an idea became an 18-year journey across media and development. Another circle formed.

India Foundation for Arts & Dialogue — Then came culture: artists, communities, traditions, dialogue, documentation, discovery. What we inherit culturally survives only when another generation finds a reason to care about it.

Because perhaps life isn't really a straight line. Perhaps it is a circle. You learn. You build. You receive. You share. And someone else begins where you once did.

Pay It Forward
The Balance
Passionkeeps me alive.
Professionkeeps it possible.
Pay Backkeeps it meaningful.

And somewhere in the intersection of all three — is where I am today.

Today

I amBuilding.

StillCurating. Still telling stories.

StillMeeting people who make me reconsider what I thought I knew.

StillSaying yes to ideas that occasionally make no commercial sense whatsoever.

StillTrying to create value from the work that pays me.

And stillReserving a part of my life for work that never needs to.

That balance isn't something I've perfected. It's simply the way I've chosen to live.

Next: Work & Play.
